I'd like to introduce you to Scarlett. It's her story that I wrote in Bended Love and she's the one that started the entire duet idea.
I see her as a strong, independent woman who had been beaten down too many times in life. She just needs a little reminder from some kind friends about her worth as a woman, her value to the world, and the reality that she deserves a better life.
In
Bended Love, Scarlett has to struggle against the misconception that she was meant to live life on the sidelines. It takes meeting Tristen for her to realize there are men who can and will treat her with respect. And it takes almost losing her nephew for her to understand she needs to fight for the life she wants.
There's nothing better than a story with strong female characters, loyal friend bonds, redemptive love and a second chance wrapped up with a female protagonist to celebrate women during Women's History Month:).
!!Some readers requested the possibility of buying the ebooks individually, so I've added those tiers at $5 each!!
What a wonderful start

I know the first week hasn't ended yet, but since it's the weekend, it feels time for a public update.
I wasn't really sure what to expect when I brought a contemporary women's fiction duet to Kickstarter. Some thought I was a bit mad. Okay, perhaps 'mad' wasn't what they said. But several people warned me that it might not work.
But so far, because of you, I think it's going quite well.
Since this is the last few days of the first week, I wanted to let you know that by Tuesday, the early bird surprise gift for paperbacks will go away. If you know of someone who would like the surprise bonus, encourage them to choose a reward before March 12:).
If the readers around you don't categorize their books the way authors do, you can tell them that if they like books that deal with themes of resilience like "It Ends with Us" by Colleen Hoover or complex characters and their emotional growth like "Daisy Jones & The Six" by Taylor Jenkins Reid, they'll like the Bended Duet.
If they like books like center on complicated family dynamics like "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng or characters overcoming a troubled past like "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman, they'll like the Bended Duet.
