This is when the fun begins!

Thank you again to everyone who supported the Bended Duet Kickstarter. I am blown away by your support and desire to read my books. That's the best feeling as an author, in my humble opinion.

This is when the fun begins, honestly. No more promoting or marketing, just getting proofs, making sure everything is perfect, signing what needs to be signed and then mailing them out! If you have never supported a Kickstarter campaign before, know that Kickstarter takes about 10-14 days to get credit cards processed. And honestly, I don't know if the Easter holiday will make that a bit longer. Be assured though, Kickstarter lets you know before it charges your card and it is all handle securely through them.

I will be sending out a survey soon to those who ordered a paperback asking you to choose the charm you wish to have on your metal bookmark.

Have a great day!

We're in the home stretch!

Happy weekend!

The Kickstarter page is now counting down in hours rather than days. I find that particularly amusing. Gives a bit more urgency, I guess. 😊

In case this is your first time purchasing through Kickstarter, here is how it goes. Once the campaign ends, Kickstarter lets you know your credit card is about to be charged. Then the charges go through.

By next week, I should receive the funds and be able to start putting together orders to send things out. The delivery timeline for the digital products is in May. For the paperbacks, it's June. Just in time for summer reading!

If at any point you have a question, you can always reply to my emails. Those come straight to me. I'll be updating everyone even after the Kickstarter ends to let you know when the books have come in, when they're getting packed up and when they ship out.

Thank you again for being part of the Bended Duet Kickstarter! Have a wonderful weekend!

A few ideas to celebrate
8 months ago – Tue, Mar 19, 2024 at 05:45:01 PM

Hello everyone.

To celebrate funding, I decided to print out the recipes into a physical booklet. You will still receive the recipes as a digital pdf as said before, but I thought a little printed one would be fun as well.

As far as stretch goals go, I talked to the cover artists and decided we can create an exclusive Bended Loyalty paperback that will have Bended Dream printed at the back of it, just for you all! If we make it to $1150, I will have that option for anyone who ordered the paperback. It will be a bit fatter, but only by about 40 pages. This will be optional. If you prefer not having the prequel as part of Bended Loyalty, you can let me know at the end of the campaign with the survey.

At any rate, let's have some fun this last week!

We made it!

Ten days to go and we hit our funding!

I'm so excited to go into the weekend with this funded. Now to brainstorm stretch goals (aka something fun to celebrate with you guys!)

If you have a stretch goal idea, let me know! Right now I'm going to do a little happy dance towards my dinner.

Before I go, I have one question: would you like the prequel formatted in with Bended Loyalty? Or would you prefer for it to be a simple, separate ebook? (You'll still get the ebook copy even if you want it also formatted in with Bended Loyalty. In case you want to share it.)

Have a great weekend!

We're almost there!

Good evening, everyone.

Thank you so much for supporting me in this campaign. There are a lot of you on the list I don't know personally, so I want you to know that I really appreciate you.!

We are over halfway to the end of the campaign, and almost to 70%. I'll be pushing more next week with a few some swaps (had some bad luck with the genres during the first two weeks, but next week looks better), and I am confident that we will reach the end with the full campaign funded.

If you haven't yet, check out the video. I changed it up with a book trailer. I wasn't too confident in my abilities, but BookBrush made it simpler than I originally thought it would be. I think they're fairly good for a first try.

Have a wonderful weekend! (The kids are home tomorrow so it already feels weekend-ish around here....)
